I want to starting playing RDR 2 on my pc as i bought it on sale on Epic Games but the problem is whenever i start the game i cant figure out what the best graphics options are to have defent quality and franerate to play the game. Red Dead Redemption 2. TAA Graphics problem. TAA makes the game really blurry at 1080p (my monitors screen resolution) and if i turn it off then theirs lots of graphical issues like fences popping in and out at certain distances and horse tails showing a the texture-less stump of the tail under the strands of hair. If you don't want to do that then up the resolution scaling setting to at least 1.5x (will have it render at 4k though it still won't look as good as actual native output 4k) and either use Hardware Unboxed optimized settings (but be sure to turn soft shadows to ultra, max out geometry LOD, and grass shadows to high) that will look damn close NVIDIA RTX™ is the most advanced platform for ray tracing and AI technologies that are revolutionizing the ways we play and create. Over 500 top games and applications use RTX to deliver realistic graphics, incredibly fast performance, and new cutting-edge AI features like NVIDIA DLSS 3.5 with Ray Reconstruction. RDR2 SLI Settings. Using Nvidia Profile Inspector, open up the Red Dead Redemption 2 profile (should be available with the new driver 441.12) and under "Unknown" set 0x20247E01 from the default (0x0000002 RDRII) to 0x0000001 (Strange Brigade). I got SLI working for my dual 1080ti set up, it runs 1080p @ 60fps nearly perfectly. . This particular rumor kicked off when Nvidia posted some screenshots of Red Dead Redemption 2 in ‘glorious 4K’ on the PC, but with a GeForce RTX logo in the corner. RDR2 PC requirements demand Im fairly new to pc gaming, i apologize in advance for this. I downloaded bright memory from steam and it says it has ray tracing support. I have an rtx 2080 super and i don't see the option to turn it on in game. Am i missing something with the nvidia control panel? I already have the latest drivers and i still don't see a solution. Thanks Agreed. You can easily turn many settings down a notch with no visual impact but a lot of performance gained back. I see loads of people with RTX cards turn water physics quality to the max, which chews into FPS, even though it looks identical to 3/4 on the slider. RDR2 SLI Settings. On 99% max settings I am in the low of 70-80 FPS in St Denis at night with fog, 90-100 in smaller towns 100-120fps in fields It is to note Dx12 does work better than vulkan in my testing of the 3080 in this game. Which was the opposite on my 1080ti which I previously used Vulkan. oof good idea. I'll test both.
